Students will learn:
current legislation on water analysis,
types of water,
water sampling and pretreatment for analysis,
analysis of organic and inorganic compounds in water,
fundamental and advanced approaches to water analysis.

The course uses teaching methods in the form of lecture – 2 hours/week and seminars 2 hours/week.

Aims

The​ ​students​ ​learn​ ​how​ ​to​ ​plan​ ​and​ ​conduct​ ​fundamental chemical​ ​and​ ​physical​ ​water​ ​analysis.​ ​They​ ​become​ ​qualified​ ​to evaluate​ ​and​ ​document​ ​the​ ​results​ ​of​ ​the​ ​analysis​ ​in​ ​an ecological,​ ​ecotoxicological​ ​and​ ​legal​ ​context.
