Learning outcomes of the course unit

Student will accomplish the aim of the subject if he achieves a pre-intermediate level of Russian both in vocabulary and grammar and if he is also able to read, translate and make slightly difficult Russian texts.

Prerequisites

Students should master Russian alphabet well, vocabulary and conversation on the following topics - introducing, phoning, basic information about myself, nationalities, on a visit, family, jobs, free time, hobbies, school, orientation in the city, means of transport, shopping, Moscow and Petersburg, Prague. Students should accomplish the following grammar - numerals, conjugation of verbs, reflexive verbs, infinitive, inflexion of nouns and pronouns, inanimate and animate nouns, indeclinable nouns, prepositional phrases, date, past tense, using "vy" when addressing a person.
