Bachelor Seminar (ID)

Students become familiar with the requirements for formal processing of the thesis, scope of work, segmentation and content of chapters, binding deadlines associated with the commitment and work well with the course of the final examination. Students are also familiarized with the requirements for presenting their results in front of the State examination committee, with the required presentation template, time limit and recommended timing, recommended presentation structure and manner of speech during the defense. Students present their own results to the supervisor.
Learning outcomes of the course unit
The ability of presentation of own work. Knowledge of formal requirements for Bachelor thessis.
Knowledge of basic software tools for working with text, charts and tables is required. Also specific knowledge related to the topic of the bachelor thesis is required.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is taught through exercises which are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Active participation in seminars, presentation of the bachelor thesis to the supervisor.
Language of instruction
The aim of the subject is to teach students to present the results of their final thessis.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Attendance at seminar is obligatory and checked by the lecturer. Potential absence has to be excused. In case of longer absence, compensation of missed lessons depends on the instructions of course supervisor.
