The course is focused on system and process approach to hazard identification and risk analysis of complex multifunctional devices, risk estimation and assessment and their management.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The student is well versed in the requirements for safety of production machines and processes and will learn to systematically and methodically approach the design and deployment of complex production equipment and production processes in terms of their safety.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of selected production equipment and processes appropriate level of graduate Master-studies.

The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline.

Testing of the knowledge, the all properties testing, klasification on the basis of level of knowledge.

Aims

The aim is to become familiar with current requirements for the safety of complex production facilities and production processes, methodologies of approach to hazard identification, risk analysis, their assessment, reduction and documentation.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Lectures are voluntary, the presentation and defense of the semester work is obligatory.
