Course detail

Metrology Legal and Industrial

FSI-9MLVAcad. year: 2020/2021

The subject is aimed at mastering of metrology in industrial enterprises with focus on functional inspection of products and organizational and technical background of the control processes. The students will familiarize themselves with the principles of calibration and verification of various instruments. Students will also understand the rules for measurement of industrial product dimensions, deviations of form and position, and evaluation of the texture of functional surfaces. Students will master formulation of requirements for inspection equipment for specific applications as well as the criteria for evaluation of industrial testing laboratories.
