Diploma Design Seminar
FSI-YDSAcad. year: 2020/2021
The course will provide knowledge for solving the technical problem of the proposed product design. Teaching takes place with an emphasis on technical analysis of the product, defining the essential technical parameters of the product, design and description of the function of individual components of the product and technology of production of individual components of the product, including their assembly and quantity of produced pieces.
Learning outcomes of the course unit
- Ability to search for relevant information in bibliographic databases and to cite these sources correctly.
- Ability to define the technical problem of the proposed product design.
- Ability to propose appropriate procedures or conceptual approaches to solve the technical problem.
The output of the course will be a semester work and its presentation.
Knowledge of material science, solid state mechanics and especially machine design courses acquired during previous student education is expected.
