Diploma Seminar (S-PST)

FAST-NHB043Acad. year: 2020/2021

In the course of the seminar, the student will prepare a part of the project documentation for the specified building of the public building. When designing the project documentation, emphasis is placed on arranging the disposition of the object to be solved in connection with the operating conditions and the design of a suitable structural system of the building including the assessment of the stability of the supporting structures. As part of the design of the public construction, the student also deals with fire safety, building protection, noise protection and energy saving. The design of the student object demonstrates the ability to synthesize the information he has acquired in the previous objects of building construction, both layout, structural, architectural, but also graphical in drawing his design according to valid standards. By design of the structural system and structural elements the student also uses the information obtained in the specialized subjects dealing with the design of the bearing structural elements of the object being solved. Outputs (drawings) are completed in CAD programs. After completing the diploma seminar, the student is able to work independently on his / her thesis work and subsequently in the building practice.
