Automation of Building-Technological Design

FAST-BW052Acad. year: 2020/2021

Computer modelling of preparation and realisation of constructions and network analysis methods depending on phases of the design linked with construction. SW tools for design control support.
Types of introduction of links in network diagram activities with regard to the constructional stage of readiness. Source and capacity planning. Costs and financial planning. Construction procedure evidence.

Institute of Technology, Mechanisation and Construction Management (TST)

Learning outcomes of the course unit

After successful passing of the course the students are able to operate and practically apply the available SW tools for construction preparation and erection, i.e. to elaborate a concept of itemized budget and bill of quantities; to draw, match and optimise a detailed time schedule of the building; to elaborate and optimise the diagrams of resources consumption and to make their balances for more projects.

Excellent knowledge of common construction processes, at least some knowledge of special techniques and technologies, knowledge and understanding of project documentation and its content.
