2. Properties of wood and wood-based materials for structural purposes.
3. Spatial configuration of timber structures, plane and spatial systems
4. Rules of computer modelling of timber structures
5. Limit states in timber structures, methods of verification.
6. Basic types of strain of timber members and timber structural elements.
7. Problems of stability of members in compression and bending.
8. Connections of timber structures.
9. Plane solid girders, frames and arches.
10. Truss girders, frames, and arches.
11. Spatial structures – spatial trusses, ribbed domes, vaults, shells and folded grids.
12. Timber houses.
13. Production, assembling, protection and maintenance of timber structures, fire resistance.
