Course curriculum

All Units (named Unidad) are from Nuevo Ven 2
1 Week – Unidad 11 Shopping. Asking for permission, asking for help. Accept or deny something politely. Te/le/les + subjunctive/indicative. Ways of payment.
2 Week – Unidad 11 Evaluating things, clothes, prices. Expressing puspose. Revision of weak personal pronouns. Para que + subjunctive/Para + infinitive. Shopping in Spain.
3 Week – Unidad 12 Expressing unlikely things. Expressing desire. Conditional sentences with subjunctive. Me gustaría + infinitive. Personal relations.
4 Week – Unidad 12 Expressing opinion, giving advice. Creo que + Indicative/ No creo que + subjunctive. Present perfect of the subjunctive mood, irregular vers. Different stages of education. Education system in Spain.
5 Week – Unidad 13 Helping someone. Making plans for the weekend. Querer + infinitive/ Querer que + subjunctive/ Pensar + infinitive/ Acabar de + infinitive. Leisure and entertainment.
6 Week – Unidad 13 Expressing disagreement. Concessive sentences. New types of entertainment.
7 Week – Unidad 14 Taking part in a discussion. Providing arguments and the structure of speech. Connecting links.
8 Week – Unidad 14 Expressing politeness. Expressing obstacles. Word formation. TV programmes in Spain – habits
9 Week – Unidad 15 Expressing past events. Describing the past. Revision of past tenses. Biographical data.
10 Week – Unidad 15 Describing past perfect tenses. Differences between past simple and past imperfect. Colombian Nobel prize winner.
11 Week – Revision of topics
12 Week – Conversation on topics
