Pre-Intermediate Level Spanish (exam)

The student has the option to attend courses BYS1, BYS12, BYS2 and BYS22 in which the students learn the needed skills to successfully perform during the exam. The content of the exam is based on the books Espaňol en marcha (Nivel Básico A1 + A2) - libro del alumno F.C.Viúdez, Pilar D.Ballesteros, Ignacio Rodero Díez, Carmen Sardinero Franco.
The exam consists of two parts, written part consisting of grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening and writing. The second part is oral and consists of a short conversation with the examiner where the student speaks on a given topic and answers questions. The time available for the whole exam is 2 hours including the oral part.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The aim of this test is for students to show their level of knowledge is such that they can orally and in written be able to use grammar and vocabulary of the daily life environment. The level of knowledge is A2+ according to EFR (European Frame of Reference).

Prerequisites

The student should have mastered the courses BYS1- BYS12 – BYS2 – BYS22 which corresponds with the content of the book Espaňol en Marcha Nivel Básico (A1+A2).

Course curriculum

It is possible to také the exam during the exam period (fall and summer). Unless otherwise specified by tutor it is possible to take the exam individually. The student has 2 hours to complete the exam.

Aims

This test is at A2+ level according to EFR (European Frame of Reference). The tests proves if students have knowledge of basic level spanish wordstock, if have knowledge of basic grammatical rules and are able to undestand basic everyday situations.
