Prerequisites

Students should master Russian alphabet very well, vocabulary and conversation on the following topics - introducing, phoning, basic information about myself, nationalities, on a visit, family, jobs, free time, hobbies, school, orientation in the city, means of transport, shopping, Moscow and Petersburg, Prague, meeting friends, appearance, human body, clothes, characteristics of people, seasons, weather, ecology, travelling, food, lifestyle. Students should accomplish the following grammar - numerals, conjugation of verbs, reflexive verbs, infinitive, inflection of nouns, adjectives and pronouns, inanimate and animate nouns, indeclinable nouns, prepositional phrases, date, past tense, using "vy" when addressing a person, substantivized adjectives, proximity, comparatives and superlatives, telling the time, conditionals, imperative mood, indefinite pronouns and adverbs.

1. L1-Foreign languages; conjugation of verbs "to choose, to understand, ...", pronouns "this, that"
2. L1-Foreign languages, Russian literature; verbal phrases "to master sth., to translate sth. from/to,…", conjunction "to/in order to"
3. L2-Housing, moving house; imperative mood – 1st person in plural, inflection of possessive pronouns
4. L2-Housing, advertisements; inflection of nouns "mother, daughter", plural forms of nouns "brother, friend"
5. L3-Health and sport, health care; nominative plural of nouns in masculine gender ending with -a/-ja
6. L3-Health and sport, at the doctor´s; nominal forms of adjectives
7. L3-Health and sport, kinds of sport; verbal phrases "to be ill/to cheer, to look after,…"
8. L4-Business negotiations; negative pronouns, prepositional phrases
9. L4- Business negotiations; sentences with the verb "to be" + instrumental case
10. L5- Russia; conjugation of the verb "to take", verbal aspect
11. L5-Russia, Moscow underground; verbal phrase "to get used to sth."
12. L5-Russia, comparing to Petersburg; sentence types "There is somebody to write to", "There is nobody to write to"
