Course detail

Traffic Engineering

FAST-DM55Acad. year: 2020/2021

The aim of this subject is to acquaint the students with detail problems of transport engineering. The teaching is aimed to the theory of traffic flow, data collection and data processing about traffic capacitive load. The theory will be applicated to capacity calculations of road sections and crossroads, traffic simulations and further to traffic control systems. Students will be acquainted with the creating of traffic models and their practice application. The integral part of education is the forecast of traffic connections. Solved examples will come from practice experiences.
