Basic database technology terms. ANSI/SPARC levels, data models, architecture of database systems(DBS).
Conceptual modelling, E/R diagrams, languages of relational DBS, language SQL.
Relation data model, theory of relations, normal forms.
Intern data organization, indexing.
Security and data integrity, transactional processing. Distributed DBS, architecture client-server, today’s trends of database technology development- post relation systems (objective and objective-relation systems).
Databases in geographic informational systems (GIS)
Database systems Microsoft Access, Oracle SQL plus.
