Computer Programs for Acoustics and Daylighting

FAST-9H9Acad. year: 2020/2021

• Practical use of software for building acoustics, daylighting and insolation of buildings with link to standards. Design and review of acoustic comfort for new buildings and reconstructions with various use. Optimization in structure selection from the aspect of acoustics, daylighting and insolation of buildings. Knowledge and ability of using corresponding software in building and room acoustics and daylighting results in more precise calculations, speeding up and extending the possibilities of designer at the choice of a solution of real structure with following graphical result presentation. After this theoretical solution of building constructions an experimental verification of acoustic and solar parameters in situ as well as the evaluation of measured data will continuate.

Course curriculum

1. Function requirement in acoustics and daylighting buildings.
2. Practical enjoy software equipment for architectural acoustics in link on valid legislature. Airborne sound insulation, impact sound insulation.
3. Optimalization choi se of materials and constructions with regards on their sound insulation properte.
4. Design and verify rooms from point of view visual good ensure.
5. Pass judgment on insolation civil buildings.
6. Design and verify rooms from point of view room acoustics.
7. Protection towards trafic sound and methods of his prediction.

design of dividing building construktions from point of view requirement for air and impact sound insulatio, evaluating close rooms from point of view legislature for reverberation time,
evaluating sound on the working place, in the protect insite and outsite area of buildings, loss of sound in the outdoor area, design of opening filler with regard on ensure requirement lighting interior of daylight, requirement insolation for civil buildings;
