In the diploma seminar of the winter semester the students are methodically and professionally prepared to the selected and allocated topics of their thesis. The subject includes the introductory common lectures, in which the students are informed with the problematic of operational conditions in the laboratories of the Institute, with the safety of operation, with the timetable possibilities of experimental works respecting the capacity of tuition. In further period each student works individually: he arranges for technical literature, standards, following the orientation of work and he makes himself acquainted with the course of work and special devices. After finishing this theoretical preparation it is possible to start the experimental work following the individual task. The methodical course is consulted with individual heads of diploma thesis and the course of laboratory works as well. The garantor and the management of the seminar ensures the coordination of works in lectures and at diplomas, including the ability of the laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
