Practical English 6
FEKT-HPA6Acad. year: 2020/2021
The written test at C1 level of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR) examines whether students understand a wide range of long and complex texts, including those related to their own area of speciality, recognise their implicit meaning and can locate specific information. Next it tests the knowledge of grammar and vocabulary (e.g. phrasal verbs, collocations, idioms, differences in the meaning).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
HPA6 course is not scheduled, it only contains a written test that examines and validates one´s level of English knowledge.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Credit will be obtained for passing the written test (i.e. getting at least 35 points out of 70) at the required level of English language (C1 according to CEFR). Only one resit is allowed.
