Studio IV - Painting 2 - summer

The semester focuses on the continuing development of individual artistic expression and cultural perspective, as well as on the almost clerical part of artistic creation, the presentation of his work / portfolio, web pages, essays on his / her work, self-awareness in the artistic context and the ability to log in and name its position within it. It is also necessary for the student to participate in the production of exhibitions and the organization of both school and out-of-school creative activities. At this stage, the established principle of study continues, namely internships, exchanges and study study stays. The emphasis is still on the formal and content side of the work. In the form of written critical papers on the studio blog, web site, or other available functional medium, the student will grasp and clarify the basics. Ability to communicate and collaborate. Separate focused preparation for bachelor work.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Collective consultation and discussion.
Exhibition excursions and their analysis.
Teaching takes the form of a collective discussion in a circle over topics and specific works.
The work is viewed from the point of view of the use of the form, the accessibility of the potential viewer and the context of the created work.
Individually develop the thinking and integrity of artistic creation and personality.
Based on the search for similarities and the confrontation of established art with its outputs, awareness of itself in the artistic context and the ability to enter and name its position within its framework.
It is also necessary for the student to participate in the production of exhibitions and organization of both school and out-of-school creative activities
Sending to a study path where the student will be confronted with another environment - internship, exchange, or transfer to another studio, both within the school and within the global available school system.
