Learning outcomes of the course unit

Student regaining knowledge of production process modelling for urgent technological innovations in building industries.
Assessment of the costs of energy-saving buildings considering the use of new construction materials.
Knowledge of practical use of stochastic modelling in solving construction time planning.
Risk of delays in course of construction.

Principles of construction preparation and realization as well as building site design.

1. Factors in the production process – labour, equipment and objects
2. Production process as a cyclic reproducible action, classification and specification of production processes.
3.Linking of production factors, complex process management in special and time structure.
4. Phases in production processes
5. Transformation law and changes in the production process. Changes arising outside the process itself and production environment definition
6. Production process impacts on environment modeling
7. Deterministic modelling methods
8. Stochastic models
9. Methods of operational analysis in production process management
10. Modelling by means of network graphs, types of network diagrams depending on activities and links
11. Network analysis, activities controlled by sources
12. SW support of network planning

Aims

Production process modelling for the purpose of innovation. The objective is the teaching the principles of work in design planning, engineering and building supplier organisations at the production management of construction project using modern information systems. Solution of individual projects with orientation to the diploma thesis.

Use of Primavera – Risk Analysis software. 9, 10. Assessment of changes in construction before completion in Czech software "Building Physics". 11, 12. Construction site design with regard to limiting the spread of noise from sources on the site in Czech software "Noise +".
