Geotechnical cathegories. Design and judgement of shallow foundations. 1st limit state, 2nd limit state. Pillows and improvement of foundation soil. Deep foundations. Sorts of piles, building technology. Check of piles. Pile groups. Calculation of axial loading drilled piles - limit bearing capacity, limit loading curve. Micropiles. Diaphragm walls - types of diaphragm walls. Building technology. Anchors - sorts (tiebacks, strands, temporary, permanent). Jet grouting. Other methods of deep foundations - open caissons, cofferdams; modern methods - vibroflotation, lime piles. Foundation pit - types of them. Rider sheeting, microrider walls, pile walls, diaphragm walls. Drainage of foundation pits. Special footings at reconstructions and modernizing.
