CISCO Academy 5 - CCNP

FEKT-XPC-CA5Acad. year: 2019/2020

The XCA5 course is is build on the basis of the official training course CCNP 3 Troubleshooting. During the course the main problem with the VTP, STP VLAN, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, ACL, SSH protocol are presented and trained during the laboratory exercise. This course is the last course in the set of the XCA courses at the FEEC.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The students obtain knowledge about the techniques often used for the solution of the common problems in IP switched, routed and WAN networks.

Prerequisites

Students should be able to work with English literature. Knowledge of the principles and protocols of IP networks. The student must past XPC-CA3 and XPC-CA4courses before attending this course.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Techning methods include lectures, computer laboratories and practical laboratories. Course is taking advantage of e-learning (Moodle) system. Students have to write a single project/assignment during the course.

Requirements for completion of a course are specified by a regulation issued by the lecturer responsible for the course and updated for every year.

Aims

The course is focused of the troubleshooting of switched and routed IP networks. The students will work in the role of Administrator, who must be able in brisk time solved the problems occured in the IP network.
