In course students will qualify new and perspective methods in selected non-electrical quantities (vibrations, acoustic emission, temperature contactless measurement) and sensor signal processing.

Prerequisites

Measurement non-electrical quantities.
Optoelectronics in measurement and control techniques.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
Techning methods include lectures, computer laboratories and practical laboratories. Course is taking advantage of e-learning (Moodle) system. Students have to write a single project/assignment during the course.

Introduction - instead of measuring techniques.
Selected chapters of metrology.
Methods and instrumentation acoustic emission measurements.
Thermovision (Infracamera) - Noncontact temperature measurement. Theory, methods, instrumentation and applications.
Noktovize (Night vision devices) - Night vision. Theory, methods, instrumentation and applications.
