Organization of Production Preparation

Definition of status and role of operation management, including service and supporting activities, standardization of work preparation. Patents.Framing of normative management base as starting point of work preparation management. Ensuring of serviceability. Learning outcomes of the course unit

Practical skills and knowledge for management of set-up periods of manufacturing process in small and middle size manufacturing enterprises.
Basic knowledge for magisterial studie sof „Management and economics of enterprise“. In industrial conditions of production processes use of process management for realization of the company portfolio.

Prerequisites

The course follows the knowledge of Mathematics I and II, Business Economics, IT Design, Materials in Electrical Engineering and Data Processing.

Co-requisites

The knowledge from TPV data will be followed by the subjects Operational Production Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Technology Transfers and Intellectual Property Protection.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Lectures will be carried out using didactic techniques using Power Point. They will be complemented by practical experience of practitioners in the field of TPV 2000 Plus product utilization and process management in the implementation of new product manufacturing activities.
The exercises will take place in the laboratory using TPV 2000 Plus to verify the preparation of a new or upgraded product.
In order to gain an overview of the application of knowledge in practice there will also be an excursion in manufacturing companies.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Credit:
control of continuous study and preparation for completion of laboratory exercises with the product TPV 2000 Plus during the semester and at the end of the semester to obtain credit in the form of written tests. 100% participation in laboratory exercises (compensation for absence) and excursion in the manufacturing company.
Exam:
will be composed of: - written - 2 theoretical questions + calculation example - 70% evaluation
- oral exam - 30% of assessment
according to the ECTS grading scale, listed in the BUT Study and Examination Regulations.

3.Forms of production processes for realization of product life cycle decision making
4. TPV activities for a new product under the ERP information system in relation to PLM.
5. Application of standardization in production preparation activities
6. Design of new product (design documentation).
7. Production design (technological documentation)
8. Proposal of introduction into production process
9. Technology of manufacturing operations ((lean production preparation products)
10. Production preparation - technical documentation (primary and secondary data)
11. Technical-economic standards, normatives
12. Study of methods and work measurement
13. Labor productivity - measurability of TPV performance

Gaining knowledge management preproduction stages of the production process as the basis of engineering with ties to the introduction of industrial engineering in practice. Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance at lectures is recommended but provides knowledge for exercises in the TPV 2000plus laboratory. Lectures from external practitioners are obligatory. There will be two during the semester.
Participation in the exercise is mandatory. Excused absences will be replaced in the exam period.
