Theory of Constructions I

Acquaints the students with the theoretical foundations of structural mechanics, the understanding of which leads to the knowledge of static action of and strain in the supporting elements of building structures. For an architect, the knowledge of the fundamental laws of structural mechanics is indispensable, since it is the modern logic basis of the most important stage of his work, i.e. the formulation of the concept. The subject is conceived in the spirit of the common principles of structural analysis, completed with examples of practical application.
Learning outcomes of the course unit

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Conditions to conferment inclusion consist in active graduation exercising and elaboration native washing. Examination is combination, i. e. written part , containing numerical instances go through in exercisings and theoretic test from lectures.
