Computer Technology III - 3D Computer Graphics

The subject provides basic information in the field of graphic vector editors and their use in architectural design. It covers the fundamentals of 3D computer graphics and the practical use of the theoretical knowledge at work with vector editor Revit. The subject's aim is to master the procedures so that the students be able of independently working out 3D model of the studied objects.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
The studens will be able to work with 3D graphic data in the AutoCAD, Revit environment, and to develop a spatial model of the studied object.
Prerequisites
The students are expected to have basic information on computer graphics, be able to work with 2D grapic data, orientate themselves in the AutoCAD program environment.

Create Sections and 2D Drawing from 3D model
Create Realistic Images and Graphics
Introduction to Revit
Styles, Styles manager, drawing with styles - walls, windows, doors
drawing with styles - stairs, railing, windows set
drawing with styles - roofs, floors, sections
Tables, sections, named views, perspective views, vizualization. Layout of drawing.
Work on the own project.

The subject's aim is to master the procedures that will enable the students to independently work out a 3D model of the studied object.

80 % attendence at turorials, active work at seminars, continuous work on assignements.
