Learning outcomes of the course unit

Evaluation of selected cities in terms of content and completeness of documentation, suitability of the proposed functions, urban economics and operational solutions. Evaluation in accordance with the master plan.

Prerequisites

the ability to know the ropes in building law, basic survey over the history of architecture and civil engeneering, basic knowledge of economics

The course is taught through lectures, practical classes and self-study assignments. Attendance at lectures is optional, but attendance at classes is compulsory.

Condition for acceptance of project is to pass a crit during a semester and submission of project according to requested program.

Aims

Introduction to fundamental principles of spatial planning, system of landscape planning, processing and approval of planning documentation, introduction to urban economics, creation of preconditions for tenure of authorized civil engineer profession.
