Learning outcomes of the course unit
Subject is focused on advanced methods of energy assessment of buildings. The main objective is to introduce students with the assessment of buildings using energy audit and energy assessment. Students will learn how to use energy audits and energy assessment in the Czech legislation. Furthermore, the limited attention paid to this issue in the international environment in the European Union. Within the subject, students will gain theoretical and practical knowledge useful in energy auditing.
Prerequisites
Energy Rating of Buildings,heating, ventilation, building physics, sanitary, cooling and wiring.
Co-requisites
Mathematics, physics, economics.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. The course consists of lectures, practical exercises and self-study. Attendance at lectures is recommended, attendance at exercises is obligatory.
