Specialized Project (S-PST)

In this course the student shows the ability to to draw up construction and technical design documentation of the building, which is intended as the basis for the project execution stage. The text section describes the the construction site and technical solution bearing structures and supplementary works to determine energy intensity of buildings and fire safety too. Graphical part is processed pursuant to Act No. 183/2006 Coll. and its implementing regulations 499/2006 Sb. on construction documentation.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The processing the complete of the project of building of civic amenities. Entering buildings with at least two aboveground stories and with basement. Roof truss or the roof + receding floor. Location of the building foreseen in the urban areas. The implementation documentation can be in two for selected areas of specialization of technical device of buildings, concrete and masonry structures or of wood and metal structures - to the extent of 30% of total. The solution is individual and is consistent with the specifications thesis.
An alternative processing can be theoretical work in the field of building physics or of fire safety based on proving the drawings and construction details on resolving theory.

Prerequisites

An understanding of the content from the bachelor’s study programme “Building engineering” and furthermore from the 2nd and 3rd semester of the master study programme.

Co-requisites

Typological design principles buildings, the basic technical solutions for individual structural units (foundations, vertical and horizontal structures, stairways, perimeter and roof, the requirements of building physics, static structures, fire safety of buildings.

Recommended optional programme components

The application of theoretical knowledge from the previous of study of civil engineering, applications of architectural and construction knowledge in the creation of building structure. Precondition is completion of compulsory optional course CH08 Diploma Seminar in the 2nd semester of the 1st year master study.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The teaching consists in leadership a student to self work in consultation with teacher and to the defense of proposed solutions according to the instructions of the teacher.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Student gets a course credit on following regular of consultation and elaboration of individual attachments.
