Basic knowledge and skills related to the management of modeling three-dimensional body. Gaining experience with the basic materials used in the modeling. Modeling as a method of finding and verifying architectural space concept.

Prerequisites

The course builds on the previous semester of creative design course, which focuses on managing space and three-dimensional objects by drawing

Co-requisites

Knowing the history of visual arts and architecture.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching takes the form of practical exercises and self-study. Attendance at seminars is compulsory.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Graded credit is min. 80% attendance at seminars and determined the number and quality of submissions.

Aims

Grasp of the elements of 3D modelling, clay modelling, preparatory modelling of organic and inorganic objects, architectonic modelling of abstract forms.
