Learning outcomes of the course unit

The student will gain comprehensive knowledge of issues concerned with design in the field of construction technology, as well as knowledge regarding the production of studies in that field. He/she will get acquainted with its content and compilation. He/she will also gain knowledge of elaborating certain parts of the construction technology project. These construction technology project parts focus on preparation and implementation of particular technology stages or construction phases. Training will be obtained which can be applied during the successful preparation of the final bachelor’s thesis.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of building technology field, in particular of the building process phases of earthworks, substructure, superstructure and interior and finishing works.

Co-requisites

Gradually gaining concurrent knowledge from the areas of building construction, construction equipment and the usage of computer programmes used in construction, as well as knowledge from the site quality control area.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Tuition consists of regular consultation sessions with the teacher and concurrent checking of gained knowledge from the bachelor thesis project.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Compulsory attendance of seminars and regular consultations concerning the assigned bachelor’s thesis are required for successful course completion. A credit is awarded for the completed subject.
