Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge of basic physical laws in the field wiring.
Understanding the wiring patterns.
Lighting design for the house.
Draft socket circuits for a family home.
Knowledge of design lightning.
Safety work on electrical equipment.
After successful completion of the course will graduate to fulfill the condition of basic electrical training and will be ready to test in accordance with Decree No. 50/1978 Coll Section 6.

Physic electric bases.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. The lectures are given an interpretation problems and model solutions. In practice, students address topics presented on the given building (design, calculations). The exercise is carried out practical training in educational panels.

Mastering the oral part of the exam.

Electrical materials and components in electrical
Technical drawing in electrical engineering
Determination of external influences. Protection of electrical equipment, protection against electric shock.
Internal electrical wiring, heavy electrical equipment
Public distribution of electrical energy electrical connections
Measurement of electrical quantities, and thermo-technical parameters
Design and calculation of artificial lighting. Lamps, Luminaires
Substation, electrical machines, appliances, photovoltaic sources
General protection against lightning. Devices for lightning protection, surge protection
Internal low voltage wiring in residential buildings
