Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students get basic knowledges about problems of design of building services. Linkage between construction system of building and systems of building services will be clarify during course. Then students get overview of facilities for design of water distribution, sewerage system and gas pipeline. Students obtain fundamentals about design of heat sources and indoor climate creation.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge about constructional systems of buildings, fundamentals of hydromechanics, fundamentals of heat transfer.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching runs in the forms of lectures and class exercises. Character of the lectures is based on definition of basic principles and problems. The main subject matters are trained on individually defined projects, which are solved during trainings.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Attendance in according to BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations is required. Another condition is the development of the given examples and drawings.
