Terms and conditions of contracts and valuation of project and engineering works (Commercial law and civil code, Fee system), Construction law 50/1976 Sb. as amended 83/1998 Sb. and implementing regulations, environmental laws, supplier systems in construction in CZ, law 360/1992 Sb. on duty of authorized architectures, engineers and techniques active in construction, site diary, project documentation negotiation, bussines activities of authorized persons, system of standards in water management.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The aim is to cover basic scope of legislative overview, mainly Building Act and Water Act. Questions of standard design and application in projection are also mentioned. Another objective is to acquire the process of planning, preparation and management of building structures. Introduction of problematic of creation and usage of documentation in realization and administration of water structures. Included are some specialized types of water documentation. These are studies and different types of operational and realization documentation.

Water management and water structures. Economy and enterprise economy.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through lectures, practical classes and self-study assignments. Attendance at lectures is optional, but attendance at classes is compulsory.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Participation in lectures and practices, elaboration of specified exercises and oral exam are required to pass the course.

11. Bussines activities of authorized persons
12. Administration and application of standards in water management
13. Assembling of individual projects, test, credits.

Work placements

Presentation of management of a river catchment done by employees of river catchment authority.

Aims

The aim of the subject is to show and discuss auxiliary activities at the consulting and water structures designing. Those are standardisation, legislation, economical and administrative activities and negotiating at designing and construction. Some special types of water management documentation are included as well.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
