Critical corporate applications

The course gives a comprehensive overview of the principles and approaches to the management of critical applications and possibilities for their implementation in the company. For the practical part of teaching is used for teaching specialized laboratory infrastructure communication systems.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will learn about the principles of critical applications, methods and approaches to their solution and their use in the design of critical applications in the enterprise, including practical skills in implementing them.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course contains lectures that explain basic principles, problems and methodology of the discipline, and exercises that promote the practical knowledge of the subject presented in the lectures.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

zápočet - požadavky:
- aktivní účast ve cvičení, cvičení jsou povinná
- 100% účast na cvičeních je nezbytnou podmínkou udělení zápočtu
- plnění individuálních úkolů a zadávaných písemných prací s hodnocením alespoň "dostatečně - E"
- zpracování semestrálního úkolu s hodnocením alespoň "dostatečně - E"

Udělení zápočtu je nutnou podmínkou pro konání zkoušky

zkouška:
- první část ústní zkoušky - z každého vyučovaného tématu (přednášky) bude položena min. 1 otázka na základy zkoušeného tématu - zkoušený musí znát odpovědi na všechny základní otázky a tím získá hodnocení "E"
- druhá část ústní zkoušky - další otázky prověřující úroveň znalostí jednotlivých vyučovaných témat umožňují zkoušenému získat až nejlepší hodnocení

1. Critical Applications (CA) and critical infrastructure (CI), links to other applications
2. Communication systems for critical applications - basic issues, differences in principles of commercial solutions (Administrative, logistics etc.) and communication systems for critical applications and industries
3. Basic and advanced CA requirements, requirements for special environments, solving classes (MCN Mission Critical Network) - connection to CA, NISS - Network Infrastructure Security Solution - binding to CA
4. topology and redundancy systems for CA
5. Protocol and timing systems, CA
6. Systems Management for managing CA
7. PROFINET IO and Industrial Ethernet / IP, EDS and GDSML configuration files work in real time
8. Special materials for the passive layer CI
9. Special active elements for controlling CA - 1
10. Special active elements for controlling CA - 2
11. Calculations transmission parameters needed for management systems CA
12. Requirements for reliability, security and speed, topology, redundant (backup) route calculation capabilities spinal management, process design. System design solutions - topology, active communication protocols, security etc.
13. Methods comparison prořízení CA systems, method of integrating the outcome of evaluation in the selection procedure

Aims

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with critical applications, their analysis, risk analysis, critical applications, infrastructure design methodology solutions for critical applications and gain practical skills with their proposal.
