Technology of air protection

Fundamentals of meteorology, Sources of pollution, the way of diffusion of pollutants from sources, criteria of atmosphere purity, legislative and economic tools of air protection, main types of atmospheric pollutants, technology of particle pollutant trapping, technology of minimization of exhaust emissions.Iradiation and nuclear power plant technology. Alternativ energy sources.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course offers students the basic piece knowledge about meteorology and about disturbances and influence global character. Piece of knowledge about methods and technologies used at dispraise basic issue from industry. Understanding principle and philosophy basic mentioned method. Basic orientation in alternative power source.Students will be capable of application concepts in the field of air protection.
Prerequisites
Regular completion of the previous specialised courses.The course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge from the field of the chemistry of the atmosphere.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course uses teaching methods in form of Lecture - 2 teaching hours per week. The e-learning system (LMS Moodle) is available to teachers and students. During the semester, students can use the tutorial tutorial as needed.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Completing the course proceeds in the form of Examination. In the examination, which is oral, the theoretical knowledge of the taught problems of komplex envitonmental technologies are checked.

Aims
To provide students with the survey of individual technologies which can limit the amount of emissions and imissions with the respect to the character of them so that the optimal result could be achieved.
