Studio I - Painting 3 - summer

FaVU-B1M3-LAcad. year: 2018/2019

The Atelier of Painting 3 has replaced the former Atelier of Intermedia, with which it, however, shows continuity. Students are led to a cognitive way of perception, id. to activation of all their mental processes participating in information acceptance, processing and storage, which include sensuous relish, intellectual understanding, emotional harmony and transcendence; they are helped to develop their ability of structured thinking and interpretation. A bulk of the work of the atelier consists in individual programmes in which the students can deal with techniques that oscillate between painting and non-painting, or go over to altogether different fields of art. Emphasis is laid on the search for individual solutions, either through fascination, passion and intuitive feeling, or through reflection, analysis and construction. Systematic and concentrated work and active interest in visual art is required from the students.
