Diploma Thesis

Student technical project dealing with a topic selected by the student from a list of topics from the study area Biomedical technology and bioinformatics The topic of Master thesis as chosen at the start of the summer semester of the given academic year and may be continuation of previous student technical projects.

The student is able to:
- independently develop technical project - master thesis,
- create the project technical report,
- defend the project before an expert committee.

The subject knowledge on the Bachelor's degree level is requested.

Teaching methods depend on the type of the course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Master thesis is evaluated by the committee for final state examinations.

To work out a final Master thesis, which is predicable to the creative technical ability of student in the last term of Master study.

The work of the student on the project is checked in frame of regular individual consultations with the supervisor.

Elaboration of the individual diploma work.

- Student chooses the diploma work after consultation with supervisor or continue with previous work.
- The recommended literature will be given with project settings.
- Student solves his project and discusses all steps with supervisor if needed.
- The outcome is Master thesis on given topic, which must contain all appurtenances of skilled technical report.
