Room Acoustics and Daylighting of Buildings

The basic physical acoustics, definition of basic terms. Noise protection and evaluation. Sound meter and its correction filters. The basic room acoustics, sound absorptance, reverberation time, three basic theories of room acoustics. Sound insulating properties of building constructions, airborne and impact sound insulation of building constructions, sound insulating evaluation. The basic urban acoustics, sound propagation and sound barriers in exteriors. Measuring instruments and methods in room acoustics.
Daylighting in buildings. The daylight factor, its components – definition, theory, ways and methods of defining and evaluating of daylighting. Insolation of residential buildings, shading diagram, solar diagram. The Daylighting and insolation requirements of building interiors.

1. introduction, fundamentals of physical acoustics, fundametals of physiological acoustics, noise and its evaluation, attenuation of noise in outdoor space
2. fundametals of room acoustics, absorptivity of sound, reverberation time
3.air-borne sound insulation of engineering structure, structure-borne sound insulation of engineering structures, measuring of acoustic
4. daylight, direct solar radiation, light of the sky, requisites on insolation, diagram of the shading, the daylight factor - definition and its components, design method and metering of daylight factor

design of dividing building constructions from the viewpoint of requirement on air-borne and structure-borne sound insulation, rate of closed area from the viewpoint of requirement on the reverberation time, rate of the noise on workplaces, in protected inner and outdoor space of buildings, attenuation of a noise in outdoor acoustics, design of aperture panes with respect to
reservation requisite lighting of interior with daylight, requisite insolation in living buildings
