Students gain knowledge of land planning documentation, conditions of land use and permission and of realization of buildings. They also work on solving possible related problems.

Teaching is carried out through lectures that consist of interpretations of basic principles, methodology of given discipline, problems and their exemplary solutions.

Knowledge verified with graded credit. Regarding the fact that neither seminars not lectures are obligatory, 3 written tests will be taken throughout the semester, based on taught curriculum.

1. Basic terms and definitions of building law with emphasis on relation to expert activity.
2. Historical development of building law (backward estimation of buildings at real estate evaluation according to preceding legal rules).
3. Basic overview of land planning structure and relation of land planning to real estate evaluation in individual phases when handling territories, especially in evaluation of lands and determination of common prices of real estate.
4. Basic tools of land planning – documents for land planning, policy of land development, land planning documentation
5. Basic tools of land planning – territorial decision
6. Course of building permission proceedings - buildings, ground work, maintenance work.
7. Importance of individual decisions in the course of construction further to building age estimation, real dividing of building.
8. Conditions of appointment and activities of certified inspector, competency and duties.
9. Activities of construction supervision, competency, duties, additional competency of building office.
10. Summary of selected services in construction, co-operation of owners of technical infrastructure. Register of land planning activities, document storing, document inspection.
11. General requirements for construction, purposes of expropriation, public interest protection and administrative delicts.
12. Basic overview of legislation connected with building act.
13. Public notice No. 137/1998 Col. – general technical requirements for construction and public notice No. 526/2006 Col. to building act.
