Corporate Management

Subject is aimed especially at following branches: definition of management and its mission on the company level, structure of management according to functions and elements, planning, organization, meeting with business subjects, stimulation and motivation, control, benefits from the school of T. Bata, examples from management of L. Iacocca and P.Drucker, decision process, objectification and procedures.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching is carried out through lectures and seminars. Lectures consist of interpretations of basic principles, methodology of given discipline, problems and their exemplary solutions. Seminars particularly support practical mastery of subject matter presented in lectures or assigned for individual study with the active participation of students.

Condition of course-unite credit:
Participation in seminar; written seminar work if needed.
Exam: written and oral parts.

Aims

Goal of the subject is to implement the theoretical basics and methodological procedures of management, basic terms, content, structure and practical application. To recommend necessary approach for resolution of management tasks on the level of company. To amplify and enlarge knowledge from management and acquaint students with current procedures and means of management.
