The course focuses on the elaboration of diploma thesis (bachelor thesis), in accordance with the given goals, content, methods as well as with the process of solution of assigned tasks.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students will be able to solve given practical problems on the basis of applying the acquired theoretical knowledge. They will be able to systematically analyze and collect data and information necessary for solving of problems. They will be able to propose integrated solutions applicable in practice on the basis of these analyses.
Prerequisites
Knowledge acquired in the course of university study in the courses within the particular branch , and its application to the solution of the given problems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course contains lectures that explain basic principles, problems and methodology of the discipline, and exercises that promote the practical knowledge of the subject presented in the lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Course-unit credit requirements, way and rules of examinations and the final classification of the course are guided by the instructions of diploma (bachelor) thesis leader and classified according to the ECTS grading scale.

Course curriculum
The course takes the form of discussions in the consultation hours of the diploma (bachelor) thesis leader.
Aims
The main objective of the course is to apply acquired basic knowledge and up-to-date theoretical trends when working out the diploma (bachelor) thesis.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Students are required to discuss partial outputs with their diploma thesis leaders.
