Learning outcomes of the course unit

Ability to develop a conceptual design of heating and ventilation, and its coordination with architectural and structural engineering solutions.

Prerequisites

The ability to create technical documentation, knowledge of building structures and structural systems, knowledge of the typology of buildings, heat capacity and technical assessment of structures

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

General theoretical knowledge gained in lectures in the seminars are applied to concrete construction.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Credit is awarded on the basis of meeting all specified conditions are met: submission of seminar work in the required scope and quality within the deadline, at least 70 percent participation in seminars and completion of two inspections required essay completion within the deadlines.
Tests the student can participate in the fulfillment of the conditions for obtaining credit. Evaluation tests consists of a theoretical part, practical part and scoring work in seminars.

Third Distribution piping in the floor plans. Installation diagram
4th Design floor heating (in the entrance floor).
5th The heat source, boiler diagram, design of measurement and control.
6th Checking the work, the final correction of the convection heating
7th Calculation of forced air ventilation restaurant traffic flow patterns
8th Pipe distribution, design of air handling units
9th Design Atrea RD.
10th Checking the work, the final correction of the ventilation of restaurant operation
11th Design house ventilation, air heating house design
12th The proposed concept of energy self-sufficient house

First Microclimate of buildings, the quality requirements of the internal environment, ways of adjusting the individual components of the microclimate of buildings
Second Sources of heat, boilers, boiler plants, flue gas, renewable energy, flue gas, district heating
Third Heating system, local and central heating radiators
4th Large heating, measurement and regulation. Using the principle of intelligent building
5th Air, its function and meaning. Air handling equipment and machinery, HVAC applications
6th Energy self-sufficient house-principle design of technical solutions and operational

Aims

Understanding the student with heating and ventilation in buildings, their technical capabilities, the conditions for the placement and management in buildings and links to architectural design, building design and layout.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance at seminars is mandatory (controlled). In the two times during the semester is checked meet the required completion of seminar work.
Missed lessons may be compensated in the form of individual consultations and entering the individual work.
