Aims

Understanding of the principle of system reliability, orientation in the impacts leading to a change in the stress-state of a structure, understanding of load and load bearing capacity of a structural element and of the whole structure. Gaining basic knowledge of wood and metal structures, needed for designing the supporting structure with regard to implementation.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Lectures are not obligatory, tutorials are obligatory - attendance at tutorials and the progress of work on semestral assignment are regularly monitored. Missed lessons can be made up for in another group or by individual arrangement with the teacher.
