Professional Practice

The core of the course consists in undergoing professional training in enterprises specialized in electronic engineering, communications and other electronic and communication services, either in the Czech Republic or abroad, in which the student solves assigned tasks and problems on the respective workplace.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

After completing the course, the student will be able to (1) succeed in an admission interview, (2) work in a team, (3) solve assigned technical tasks.

Prerequisites

For a successful completion of professional training, knowledge on the level of bachelor studies is required.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. Professional training in a company specializing in electronic engineering, either in the Czech Republic or abroad, in the extent of 80 hours.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Successful completion of the course is conditional on having worked 80 hours, which will be confirmed by the respective employee of the enterprise. Credit points for professional training are awarded at the end of the last year of master studies against written confirmation of the completion of the course.

Professional training of the student in a company specializing in electronic engineering, either in the Czech Republic or abroad, in the required extent.

Aims

The aim of the course is for the student to undergo professional training in a company operating in electronic industry and in communication or other electronic service providers in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The run of the training is supervised by an appointed employee of the enterprise, who will confirm in writing the successful completion of the training.
