Bachelor Seminar (S-TZB)

Seminar is based on individual student activities. Student works according to instructions of consultant to finish bachelor work. The main aims of bachelor seminar is elaboration of studies and analysis of defined problems and theme in chosen specialization (sanitary, heating, VAC, electric instalation). Student used experimental methods for evaluation nad finished with report as base for elaboration of bachelor work.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The students increase their theoretical knowledge about environmental engineering. Students learn to work effectively with the professional literature, printed and electronical, magazines, technical standarts; process literature review on the given topic compliance with the rules of citation. The students increase their knowledge about elements in the technical systems, its function, use and design. Student will be able to analyse specific problems in environmental engineering.

Prerequisites

Plumbing systems, Heating, Airconditioning on the level of subjects in 2. and 3. grade of bachelor´s study.

Co-requisites

Simultaneously is necessary to study 3 compulsory optional subjects from the offer institute of technical building equipment.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through practical classes and self-study assignments. Attendance at practical classes is compulsory.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Consultations of processed issues nad submissions of report in the credit week.

Course curriculum

1. Introdaction, inputs for seminary work connected with bachelor work.
2.-12. Elaboration, consultation, correction of seminar work. Working out part of bachelor work.
13. Presentation, discussion and defence of seminar work

Using of experimental methods.
