Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will gain knowledge of creating the construction technology project. He/she will get acquainted with its content and compilation. He/she will also gain knowledge of elaborating certain parts of the construction technology project. These construction technology project parts focus on preparation and implementation of particular technology stages or construction phases.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of building technology field, in particular the building process phases of earth work, substructure, superstructure and internal and finishing works.

Co-requisites

Gradually gaining concurrent knowledge from the construction equipment field, usage of building computer programmes and knowledge from the site quality control area.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Tuition consists of regular consultation sessions with the teacher and concurrent checking of gained knowledge from the bachelor thesis project.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Compulsory attendance of the seminar and regular consultations of work progress at assigned parts of the bachelor thesis is required for a successful course completion.

Course curriculum

1. Pre-production preparation, construction-technology study
2. Characteristics of the building site and conditions of the building vicinity
3. Study of the implementation of the main technology phases and building work
4. Principals of the proposal of the building operation concept
5. Time and financial building plan – method of creation
6. Method of processing of individual construction-technology study documents
7. Laying out of areas for material storing, sanitary and administration buildings of the construction plant
8. Places for connection of necessary power media for construction, laying-out of utilities and their situating
9. Fixing of electric power and water demand for construction and constructional plant
10.Time and financial plan of the building execution – practical example
11.Calculations of the constructional plant area – particular building

Aims

The objective is to gain a complex view of a student on the problem topic of the building-technology design planning. It summarizes the methods of creation, manner of calculation and modelling of principal documents for the building-technology study and production preparation of a particular construction. Practical preparation for successful elaboration of the final bachelor work.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
