Learning outcomes of the course unit

The aim is to increase knowledge of building systems for HVAC systems. Students will learn basic physical and technical principles of the formation of the internal microclimate of buildings by HVAC equipment. They will gain an overview of the currently used systems of air in civil and residential buildings. Students gaining the knowledge framework to design basic systems for ventilation and air conditioning of buildings. They will be able to identify the composition of HVAC equipment and the purpose of each elements.

Prerequisites

Thermal engineering, basics of heating, especially heat technical calculations, the design principle piping network - hydraulics, basics of building acoustics.
