Project sewer system and wastewater treatment plants, calculation the amount of wastewater, design and dimensioning sewer system, drainage tracing, technology scheme of wastewater treatment plant, longitudinal profile of the main sewer, wastewater treatment plant scheme, technical report.
Project water supply, calculation of water demand, hydraulic network analysis, design of water treatment technology, design and drawing of water tank, situation of water supply, longitudinal profile of water supply, technicla report.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
The planned incinerator in wastewater treatment plant and water treatment plant.

Mandatory participation in seminars at the seminars (only allowed two excused absence) submitting examples of exercises deadlines.

1. Design of water intake structure. Technology of drinking water treatment plant.
2. Drawing of water intake structure. Flowchart of drinking water treatment plant.
3. Interior layout of drinking water treatment plant, sectional drawings.
4. Conceptual plan of water supply, water demand assessment.
5. Water distribution network plan.
6. Longitudinal profiles of water distribution network.
7. Water distribution network analysis.
8. Conceptual plan of sewer network.
9. Hydrotechnical situation of sewer network.
10. Sewer network analysis.
11. Longitudinal profiles of sewer network.
12. Assessment of basic data concerning wastewater treatment plant.
13. Hydraulic and technological design of wastewater treatment plant.
14. Structural and technological project of wastewater treatment plant.

The basic conception solution and design of water supply and waste-water disposal on urban areas.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Extent and forms are specified by guarantor’s regulation updated for every academic year.

Recommended optional programme components

The study of recommended websites of producers and suppliers of water treatment technologies, wastewater treatment plant, pipe materials, fittings and valves.
