Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge of the system of prices in the Czech Republic. Knowledge of methods of pricing in the construction industry. Ability to formulate the cost etimate of the building, calculation of the price of building construction and work, costing of rates of machines and fee for designer. Ability to work with software for budgeting and costing in civil engineering in the Czech Republic.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of labour engineering and work economy in civil engineering. Knowledge and skills are required especially from areas of work, material, machines and equipment standardization, wage and salary issues and coding and classification of building production issues.

Co-requisites

Technology of construction works, safety of labour, financing of building orders.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through lectures, practical classes and self-study assignments. Attendance at lectures is optional, but attendance at classes is compulsory.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The evaluation is complex and multi-criterial. Students earn points during the term. The attendance, case study and a written test are scored in the exercise. The activity is scored in the lectures during the term. The exam consists of a written test (maximum 60 points), written answers to questions (maximum 10 points) and oral examination (maximum 10 points). The mark reflects the work during the term (maximum 20 points) and exam (maximum 80 points)and results of acquired points (maximum 100 po
