Individual work with students according to the theme of bachelor thesis.
The study of literature on the basis of background research.
Methodology of working up a bachelor thesis and preparing of experiments in departments laboratories.
Execution of experiment, evaluation of results and comparison with the theoretic model of experiment.
Evaluation of influences on accuracy of results.
Methodology of measurement report, it’s treatment and defense as a part of bachelor thesis.

Preparation of students for processing of undergraduate work according to specification
Experimental realization of undergraduate work
Consultation of analytical solution
Students will be able to carry out the experimental part of bachelor work

Prerequisites

The basic properties of building materials, methods of testing physical and mechanical properties of construction materials, basic diagnostic methods of assessment of structures.

Co-requisites

Building materials, Testing and Technology, Diagnostic of bulding structures.

Educational activity is provided in the form of seminars
Emphasis is placed on independent work of students
Presentation of bachelor thesis and critical discussion

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The condition of the course is to attendance at seminars, successful presentation of the bachelor thesis.

Course curriculum

1.-2.
3.-5. Bachelor thesis determining, theoretical model of experiment, consultation.
6.-7. Methodology of experimental works elaborating. Consultation.
8. Measurement project elaborating.
9.-11. Practical experimental works.
12. Comparison and discussion about experiment results and design model.
13. Evaluation of impact of input values on result accuracy.

Student preparation for bachelor thesis elaboration according to the theme, realization of the experimental part of bachelor thesis and consultation of analytic evaluation.
